Thanks to everyone that has and have recently been subscribing to my blog. You guys are the best! I’ve been extremely busy juggling 2 jobs and searching for a trendsetting company to work for, so I haven’t had as much time to post to my blog. Ideas are always popping in my head! No doubt about that, so please keep an eye out on my blog. Be sure to follow and Tweet me too @CommaChic. Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about what to wear to an interview and to the office. And for many, graduation is just a couple of months away. That means a lot of you are out there looking for jobs and wondering how to dress for an interview too. Well I have some stylish interview outfit tips and ideas.
Tips on How to Dress for an Interview:
“Dress to impress.” “First impressions are everything.” These are cliches, but they’re true. But you’re still asking yourself, “What should I wear?” Here are some things to consider:
- Dress for the job you want. If it’s a sales job at a retail store, like a Sports Equipment shop, then you can dress sporty casual. But if it’s an editing job at a stylish fashion magazine, then you’re gonna have to dress more chic.
- Dress for the situation. A dress with bare legs may be great if you’re in a warm city like L.A., but you’ll look crazy if you’re in a blistering-cold town.
- Dress to show your personality. You may be interviewing for a professional corporate job, but you can show a bit of your personality in your outfit like with a pair of trendy bold-colored shoes or killer high heels.
