The North Face Review

F/W 2012

GigaSavvy sent me an early Christmas present – cute gear by The North Face. Seeing those packages on my front door step made me feel like a kid at Christmas morning. My eyes lit up with joy, I grabbed those boxes and ripped em open!

Most of you probably know about The North Face – outdoor sporting gear and clothes. In Seattle, lightweight fleece and rain jackets are our wardrobe staples. Though if you’re like me, you probably go for cute fashionable clothes over name brands. (Gasp! I don’t own any The North Face.)  But after checking out all The North Face gear online and trying out their clothes, no wonder it’s so popular.

The first package I received was this super cozy fleece jacket. You know those soft, fuzzy throw blankets you wish you could wear? This is it! The outside of this jacket is so soft and plushy it almost looks like a fur coat but much more flattering.

The second package was this ivory cable-knit scarf. Because it’s made of 80% wool, it’s ultra warm. And I love the perfect-for-winter color. Ivory goes with just about everything. (FYI, I’m gonna tie some ribbons to the ends to wear it as a stylish circle scarf.)

The North Face makes some really cute, fashionable activewear for women that can be worn to work out in or even to go shopping. I say definitely check out some of their clothes and let me know what you think. Or if you already own some of their stuff, what are some styles you recommend?
